Monologue

Monologue is a voice-dictation tool that lets users speak wherever they would normally type. It converts spoken thoughts into clean written text inside the active application, making it useful for email, messaging, documents, AI chats, and everyday computer work. Users can teach Monologue names and specialized terminology and customize its writing style through modes and instructions. It also includes Voice Notes for recording meetings and ideas, with transcripts, summaries, speaker information, and tags available afterward. Monologue supports Mac and iPhone or iPad workflows, including an iOS keyboard for dictation in other apps. Its focus is not simply speech-to-text transcription but turning natural spoken language into usable written communication while adapting to the user’s preferred style.
