Anura

Anura® is a video-based, contactless health and wellness monitoring platform developed by NuraLogix. First introduced in 2019, it uses a device camera and a roughly 30-second video selfie to analyse facial blood-flow information through the company’s patented Transdermal Optical Imaging (TOI) technology and DeepAffex AI. The platform is designed to provide vital-sign measurements and broader wellness insights without requiring traditional wearables or dedicated sensors.

Anura supports measurements and assessments covering pulse rate, breathing rate, blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, heart-rate variability, cardiac workload, body metrics, mental stress, and several health-risk indicators. NuraLogix states that its FDA-cleared measurements include Pulse Rate and Breathing Rate, while other health insights and condition-likelihood assessments are intended for informational and wellness purposes rather than diagnosis or treatment. Anura is available through multiple deployment formats, including mobile SDKs and enterprise applications, web services, desktop SDKs, and telehealth integrations.

The technology is aimed at digital health, telemedicine, insurance, employee wellness, and other organizations that need scalable contactless health insights. Its major advantage is device flexibility: compatible implementations can use smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, or kiosks with cameras.
