Olypsys is an AI-powered industrial measurement platform that uses smartphone cameras to measure flexible components such as O-rings. Its O-ring measurement workflow lets users place an O-ring on a measurement grid, capture it with a phone, and receive measurements in seconds. The system uses machine learning to detect edges while accounting for shadows, reflections, perspective distortion, and different surface conditions. It supports black, white, translucent, and encapsulated O-rings without requiring specialized lighting. Olypsys can also compare measurements against standard sizes and provide pass-or-fail results with traceability.
