PromptUnit

PromptUnit is an AI inference proxy focused on lowering the cost of applications that use multiple language models. Developers can connect it by changing their existing API base URL rather than rebuilding their integration. PromptUnit analyzes incoming requests and routes each one to a cheaper model when that model can meet the required quality level. It supports providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, DeepSeek, Mistral, Together AI, Perplexity, xAI, and Cohere. The platform also breaks spending down by feature, monitors response quality, sends spend alerts, and detects token inflation. It can compress prompts before billing and provides a 14-day observation period before routing changes are enabled.
