Animant

Animant is an interactive presentation and media tool from Animant Labs that combines video, existing media, and interactive 3D models into immersive stories. Instead of showing audiences a fixed video or traditional slideshow, Animant lets viewers explore important objects in 3D while related media plays alongside them. Users can begin with PDFs, videos, audio recordings, or images and use Magic Chapter to identify key ideas, organize content into a clearer sequence, and suggest suitable moments for adding 3D objects. The tool also includes Media Effects for controlling when models appear, disappear, rotate, or receive 3D laser-pointer annotations on the timeline.

A major feature is on-device 3D scanning using supported Apple hardware. Physical objects can be captured and converted into detailed 3D models while keeping scan processing on the device. Animant supports split-view and face-cam presentation layouts and offers cloud embedding for Enterprise users. The app also includes AI-assisted features such as content summaries and media organization, although some advanced capabilities require compatible Apple Intelligence devices and Animant Pro.
